27 May 2021 – Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation’s (Keppel T&T) wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Midgard Holdings Pte. Ltd. (KMH), and leading Philippine internet service provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. (PSE: CNVRG) held an online signing ceremony last May 25, 2021 to enter into the definitive agreements for the participation of Converge in the Bifrost Cable System project. Two subsea cables named BiFrost and Eco is going to be commissioned by fb and google on and before 2024. Echo will be build by google and XL Axiata before 2023. BiFrost would be developed by fb, Talin and Kappel targeting RFS of 2023. Eco will start from Eureka, California and an add-drop in Guam heading toward Singapore.
